Yesterday we had our first baseball game and Drew was SO excited! The game was delayed two hours due to rain the night before so it was supposed to start at 11:15am and it got delayed until 1:15pm. So since it got delayed we had some running around to do before the game and he kept asking "Is it time for the game now?" It was really sweet. He was feeling a little under the weather so we weren't quite sure how he would do but he did great. He had great hits, he ran great, etc... His cousin Matthew is also on his team again this season and I really enjoy that. I love getting to see the boys play together and they love it. It is so cute. I would have to say Blakely is probably the one that loves it the most. She is so proud of her brother and cousin. She is their personal cheerleader. Their team looked professional compared to the team we played. The majority of the team played together in the Fall so that really helps. We also have the same coach and he is great. He is really organized and keep the boys busy and on task which with 3 and 4 year olds I can't imagine so my kudos go out to Coach Ryan. You are doing a great job with all the boys! They love it and I really feel like they are learning the game of baseball. Thanks for all you do. We can't until the next game...many more baseball post to come - stay tuned!!!
