He Got Away...

Well despite our efforts we didn't catch that sneaky little leprechan.  Oh well maybe next year...now to clean up his mess!

We are going to catch him...

For our family project for this month we had to create a trap to catch Lucky the Leprechaun.  The kids were so excited about this project.  Every night they kept asking can we make it today, can we make it today, can we make it today so finally on Sunday afternoon we did just that.  We put on thinking caps on and we sat down and we worked on our traps.  They kept coming up with all these stores about what kind of trap they wanted to make and how it would trap that crazy thing.  It was sooo cute!  They have to bring it to school and share with their friends.  Sweet!

School Treats!

Tomorrow the Twins are celebrating St. Patrick's Day at school since St. Patrick's Day is Saturday.  They are so excited.  They have been learning about St. Patrick's Day all week (well I guess when they have been there).  So we had to make a little treat for them to take and since it really creep up on me quickly I just did a repeat of last year.  Aren't they cute?  Aren't they perfect for their age?  I think they will love them.  I know Blakely and Drew are excited about them.  I hope they have a great, fun, exciting day!!!  I am so happy they love school and love learning.  It makes life so much easier. Have fun kiddos! (I hope B gets to go.)

I'm so LUCKY to have you!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! This is a little treat I made for the Twins class at school. I found the tag template -"I'm so LUCKY to have you!" online and I just thought it was too, too cute! Then on another site I found the Lucky Charm Counting Sheet and thought what a perfect idea for 3 and 4 year olds! I knew my kiddos would love it! So tonight we worked on putting them together - they thought it was GREAT fun! I think they ate more Lucky Charms than were actually in the bags but I am glad they enjoyed it. They don't go to school Thursday so they are going to be celebrating tomorrow - we have their green layed out, ironed and ready to go! They are so excited because they are supposed to bring something in to help them try and catch the Leprechaun! Blakely decided to bring in big, shiny coins and Drew is bringing tape! I can't wait to hear ALL about it tomorrow. Have fun and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
