Summer Swim

 

 

This is my idea of summer time - at the pool!  These kids are like little fish.  They would swim all day everyday if we would allow them.  They love it and I do to.  They just play and play and I can catch some rays and just relax.  Oh how I love summer!!!

First Swim of the Summer!

Sunday we headed over to Grandma and Papa's house for the first swim of the summer.  The kids were so excited they could hardly wait.  They woke up bright and early and kept asking are we going swimming today, are we going swimming today!!!  So finally at about lunch time we headed over to their house.  We had a great lunch followed by my wonderful dessert using our fresh picked strawberries and blueberries.  It was so good.  After lunch we finally headed over to the pool and the kids swam and swam and swam until they really couldn't swim anymore.  Drew was still a little under the weather and actually threw up two more times while we were there.  I don't know what was wrong with that little guy.  After we came back over to Grandma and Papa's after swimming.  He laid down on Papa's chair and was out in like 2 seconds and he ended up sleeping like 15/16 hours that night.  Poor little guy!!  We had a great time swimming.  The water was perfect and we got to swim with Maya!!!  Thanks Grandma and Papa for having us - we are looking forward to more swimming this summer.
 

CAUTION: Wild Animals

Today we headed to the Zoo with Aunt Quinn and Baby Maya. It was SO hot but SO much fun! It wasn't very crowded so we got to see everything. Most of the animals were out so that made it more interesting. We went in at first and looked around until lunch time and then we headed back to the car for a picnic in the park. After our picnic we headed back in to look around a little more. Drew's favorite was the alligator and I am not really sure what Blakely's favorite was probably the Pandas. She likes anything sweet and cuddly! I think Maya just thought we were all crazy. For it be so hot though she did a great job. We'll have to take her back when she gets a bit older.
