Go Maya, Go Maya!

Of course once little Miss Maya saw Blakely in that dance outfit she had to have one to so I brought one of Blakely's old costumes over to Grandma and Papa's house and let her give it a try.  She loved it and looked like a born natural.  So Sweet!  It is so sweet to watch her watch Blakely and want to do everything she does.  We love that little girl!

Little Miss Snow Queen

Little Miss Maya has started competing in a few pageants recently.  She looks so cute.  I met Quinn early and did Maya's hair.  I wasn't sure how that was going to go but she did well.  She sat really still and in the end she looked soooo cute!  She also won so that made the event even more special.  Way to go Miss Maya!

Happy Belated Birthday Maya!

Poor little Miss Maya was sick for her TWO year old birthday party so it had to be cancelled.  So Quinn decided to do a little party for her.  We met at Yogli Mogli which is a cute little frozen yogurt shop here in Douglasville.  It is Oh So YUMMY!  Maya was excited to have everyone join to celebrate her special day.  She looked so cute and of course she loved the yogurt!  Happy Birthday Maya!

Fair Fun!

Friday evening we spontaneously headed to the North Georgia State Fair with Quinn, Jim and of course Miss Maya!  We had a great time.  The kiddos really enjoyed riding the rides well I guess I should say Blakely and Drew enjoyed riding the rides.  Miss Maya on the other had thought she wanted to ride every ride until the rides would actually start and then you can see in the pictures her excitment went away quickly.  Poor thing!  She did enjoying looking around, watching her cousins ride, eating, dancing, etc... so it was a good night for her as well.  She loved the animals.  We had a good evening.  Papa gave both kids $5 before we left and of course that $5 was buring a hole in their pockets so before we left they finally decided what they wanted to buy and you can see from the pictures they bought some great light up toys.  They were THRILLED to say the least about these in my opinion dumb toys but I guess because they know Mom and Dad aren't normally going to buy them it made it even more special.  I don't think Drew has put it down since he got it.  Really it is amazing they still work and still have batteries after all this time.  Thank you Papa!

We had a spend the night guest!

Guess what?  We had a spend the night guest - Miss Maya!  Quinn had to work on Saturday morning and Jim had something to do so they asked us if Maya could spend the night and of course we said YES!  The Twins were SO excited to have their little cousin spend the night.  We met up with Quinn and Jim and picked her up on Friday night after the dance rehearsal and then we headed to Clinton Farms park to let the kids play.  (Don't tell them but it was also to wear them out so they would sleep, sleep, sleep!)  After we got home of course they had to play a while and shop Miss Maya ALL their toys.  We finally headed to bed which was an easy task because all the children were tired!  Of course with this bunch we had an earlier morning but they were all pretty well behaved.  They just played and played.  We even had a little time to play in the baby pool before it was time to get ready for Blakely's dance recital.  Thanks for staying with us Maya.  We had a great time.
