CHHS Cheer Camp

 

 

 

CHHS Cheer Camp!  This is one of Blakely's favorite things about summer.  She loves attending this camp each year and this year she even had a friend from school attend which made it even that much better.  The camp goes every day Monday through Friday and then on Friday they do a little performance for the parents.  It is so cute!  I think she is a born cheerleading.  Of course - I love that!

Blakely {HEARTS} Cheerleading!

Blakely took a little cheerleading class at the gym this year and she LOVED it.  It was once a week for an hour and she couldn't wait for that day.  She would get a little mad at some of the other girls in her class who wouldn't take it as serious as her. Too funny!  At the end of the year they got to do a performance for all the parents, grandparents, etc...  She loved this and it was fun to get to see what all she had learned this year.  She definitely has perfected her cartwheel and she will NOT stop doing it.  Way to go Blakely - we are so proud of our little rah - rah girl!  I guess she is headed in her momma's footsteps. 

Cheerleader in the making???

A couple of weeks ago Blakely started taking Cheerleading class and Douglasville Cheer and Gymnastics and she is LOVING it!  She has taken gymnastics in the past but she never quite loved the bars and the balance beam so I went to visit the gym over the summer and asked them if they offered anything with out those and they did.  They offered a cheerleading class which was exactly what we were looking for.  She has only been three weeks so far but she is loving it and really learning a great deal.  They started teaching her a routine and she has done it over and over and over again about 1,000 times.  It is so cute and my parents say she looks like a little Whitney.  Of course - I love it and I hope she continues to like it but we will see.  There is so much for kids to do these days.
