After we left the children's play place we headed to this little park to waste some time before lunch and to show Drew the alligator statue. He of course loved it! He is ALL about alligators and for that matter any type of animal right now. He loves them all. It was a cute park with a bridge, swings, etc... They also had this neat water feature. Well the water feature had a place where bubbles were coming out and Grandma (Thanks Grandma!) told Drew that was an alligator making those bubbles and since he watches Swamp People with Daddy and Papa he totally believed it. He knew that if you saw bubbles that meant an alligator was near. So he stood there and stood there and stood there waiting on that alligator to come out. Of course no alligator was going to come out so we finally had to convinced him that the alligator must be sleeping so that we could go for lunch. I think Papa has turned that boy into a hunter. Thanks Papa - I am sure his wife will love you one day!
