Happy 1st Birthday Miss Maya!

Today we celebrated Miss Maya's 1st birthday!  It was so much fun.  She had a great turn out for her birthday.  She was in such a good mood and so happy that it was her special day.  The party was at her house and Quinn had it decorated so cute as you can see from the pictures.  The theme of the birthday party was - cupcakes!  Quinn also had a Candy - Bar where guest were to make a bag of candy as they left.  It was really cute and of course all the kids loved it.  The party started off with lunch which was really yummy and then Miss Maya or should I say ALL the kids opened presents.  She got lots of nice presents which was really wonderful.  She will be playing and playing.  She especially liked the little kitchen that Quinn and Jim got her.  It was hard to get her to quit playing with it and to get her to open the other presents.  After presents it was CAKE time and you can see from the pictures this was her favorite part.  A student in my class made this GIANT cupcake which fit the theme perfectly.  Thank you Gabby!  Quinn sat the cupcake down on Maya's highchair and at first she just looked at it so I picked it up and gave her a little taste and then she dove right in.  She LOVED it!  It was soooo cute.  Miss Maya we are so glad to have you in our family and to be able to celebrate these special moments with you.  We (especially your cousins) love you so much and you are such a great addition to our family.  Happy 1st Birthday!
