Field Trip to the Firestation

This week the Twins got to go on a field trip to the fire station.  They were so excited and have been talking about it for some time now.  They couldn't wait for the big day.  Well, Thursday the big day arrived and they couldn't wait to get to school.  They talked about it from the minute they woke up until I dropped them off.  I couldn't go because I had school so Phillip went.  He said they had a good time.  The firemen talked to them about fire safety, they got to see the fire truck inside and out and they even gave them a fire hat to take home.  That just made their day.  Blakely was a little scared of the firemen at first - especially when they had all there gear on.  I am so glad they get to experience field trips like this.  They will remember these special events forever.  Thank you Sikes and Mrs. Jennifer and Ms. DeAnna for all you do!
