The Twins First Moonlinght Run! Since the kiddos are in Road Runners now we have to do so many races in the Fall and the Spring in order for them to "letter" at the end of the year. One of the races we decided to do was the Moonlight Run because we knew this was a fun one that they would really enjoy. Before the race in Downtown Douglasville they hold a Chili Cook off and a Costume Contest so we headed up early before the race to check this out. While we were there we entered Blakely into the Costume Contest and she WON!!! We couldn't believe it. Way to go Blakely! Drew didn't want to wear his costume. I guess he thought it would hinder his running - ha ha! After the race we were supposed to head to a friends Halloween party but when we went to the car we realized we were blocked in and the 5K had not even started so we were stuck for a loooong time. So what else to do when you are stuck but head to dinner! So that is just what we did. It ended up being a loooong night but the kids had a great time and they actually did pretty good running as well.
