Vacation here we come!

Well, it is finally time and we are headed for a much, much needed vacation.  Phillip and I headed to Destin, FL while the twins headed to Pigeon Forge, TN with my parents.  I hadn't been to Destin in quite a while so I was really looking forward to checking it out.  It was also nice to travel without the kids.  Not that I don't love those two to death but it was nice to have a little break.  Not to have to turn around in the car 5,000 time to get something that dropped, to change the movie, to look at an ipod, to break up a fight, etc...  we also got to sleep in, sit on the beach without hearing "watch this, watch this", we also got to have dinner with out having to cut up someone elses food or without having to take someone to the bathroom so again I love those little guys but the break was nice.  The weather wasn't the greatest.  I mean we got beach time everyday but we also got an evening rain almost everyday as well.  We check out the outlet malls, strip malls, commons area, etc...  it was fun.  We just did what we wanted, when we wanted.  We went on a dolphin cruise which was pretty fun.  We also were their over the 4th of July so of course watching the fireworks was on the schedule.  We stayed in San Destin and they have a great village that was perfect for watching them.  On Thursday we left and we decided to drive through Seaside and Panama City on the way to check it out since we haven't been there in along time.  It was kind of fun to drive through and check it all out.
