Today was the BIG day or as Blakely would say her "Special Day"! It was the dance recital day. What she had been working for and looking forward to since this years dance started way back in September. Needless to say she was SOOO excited. She kept asking all day is it time to get ready now, is it time to get ready now,... Finally I answered her "YES!" and we started the process - bath, hair, make-up, glitter, costumes, hairspray, hairspray, and more hairspray. I think she likes this part as much as the actually dancing. She loves to be all glammed up. She is a pro at it. She just sits completely still and lets me do it. It is so cute. This year she did two dances a ballet dance and a tap dance. She did a great job. I would say she is a born natural. She just gets in to dance mode and does wonderful - smiles, shakes and shimmies! She had a lot of fans come out to support her and we would really like to THANK them all. She had Mommy, Daddy, Drew, Grammy, Pa, Nanny, Grandma, Papa, Quinn and Maya. Everyone was so proud of her and so excited with the great job that she did. After the recital she was so excited to see everyone. Of course she was so excited with what every one brought her to. Again, thank you so much to everyone that came out to support her to make this day so special for her. She loved every minute of it.
