CHHS Cheer Camp

CHHS Cheer Camp!  This is one of Blakely's favorite things about summer.  She loves attending this camp each year and this year she even had a friend from school attend which made it even that much better.  The camp goes every day Monday through Friday and then on Friday they do a little performance for the parents.  It is so cute!  I think she is a born cheerleading.  Of course - I love that!

Schools Out for the Summer!

Today is my official last day of school - YEAH!!!  We worked hard getting bulletin boards done so we didn't have to worry about them next year, we headed to lunch at Yogli Mogli, and then I ended the day by getting my hair done.  It was a GREAT last day - now off to enjoy my summer!

Bath Time for Iggy the Piggy!

Iggy the Piggy gets a bath!  That sounds like some children's book. :)  At first she was a little unsure of this but in the end and after a few Cheerios she was okay with it and actually she was enjoying it. What a sweet piggy!

Last Day of School!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!  To make the last day of school kind of special (not that it is not special enough) we got up earlier and headed to Dunkin Donuts for a yummy breakfast before heading to the LAST day of school.  The kids were so excited and so ready for summer!  Let the fun begin...

Teacher of the Year!

This year I was nominated Teacher of the Year for my school, Chapel Hill High School.  I am so honored that my colleagues would nominate me for such a prestigious award.     Thank you Chapel Hill!  It is my understanding that along with this wonderful award is also some wonderful work - ha ha!  My understanding is that I have to write like a 10 or so page paper, create a poster and attend quite a few events.  Sounds like a fun summer!  No, really I am very honored and proud of this nomination.  We will see how it goes...

Graduation

Graduation - What??? Where did this year go?  It is so hard to believe that this year is already over.  This year the twins had a GREAT time at school.  They loved their teachers, they learned A LOT, they made good friends - what more could you ask for?  We enjoyed every minute of it.  Thank you Mrs. Folsom, Mrs. Cathy and all of Brighten Academy for making my children's first year in BIG school very successful.

On a side note - I'm not too sad because I know we will be back next year! YEAH!!!

Rodeo - Yee Haw!
