It's Picture Day!

I know I am totally bias but aren't these two just the cutest.  Today was picture day so they were all dressed up and ready to go.  Blakely was wanting her picture made and as you can see Drew' wasn't to keen on it.  They crack me up but it is so sad how big they are getting so fast.

Happy Easter from the Lester's!

Happy Easter!  The kiddos were so excited about Easter this year.  They have talked and talked about the Easter bunny coming to our house.  They heard if you plant jelly beans they will change into lollipops on Easter so we gave it a try and as you can see from our picture above  - it worked!  They were beside themselves with excitement over this.  On Easter morning I heard the kids get up and run around the house looking for their Easter baskets.  It was so sweet to lay in bed and listen to them.  They hunted and hunted and they couldn't find them.  Finally they found Drew's and they were SO excited.  However, they still couldn't find Blakely's but listening to them talk she didn't really care.  She was just so excited for him.  She said oh well maybe he took mine let's just look at yours Drew and see what you got.  They are so sweet - I just love those kids.  Finally I got up and helped them find B's and they ran to the bedroom to show Phillip and to poor everything out.  After that we had to get ready for church.  After church we headed over to Mom and Dad's for yummy lunch and more treats.  Since the weather wasn't good Mom hid the eggs in the sun room.  It was a little bit of a challenge keeping them from sneaking in their to get and early start. Mom and Dad also got them an Easter basket full of goodies.  As you can see in the pictures they were SO excited with everything they got.  I was also glad that it wasn't ALL candy!!! I mean how much candy can two children have.  Maya got a My Little Pony and as you can see she LOVED it.  She was SO excited.  She also got some big girl panties so of course we had to have a try on party and make a big deal out of them.  She was so proud of herself.  She is not potty trained quite yet but I think she will get it soon.  It was a great day.  Later in the afternoon we headed over to the Lester's for Easter dinner and more egg hunting with them.  The kids couldn't wait.  You know they LOVE hanging out and playing with their boy cousins Will and Matthew!  Overall the day was great!

It's Easter Party Time!

The Twin's Easter Party was so much  fun!  The weather was quite chilly so we had to have it indoors.  That's was no problem.  We started off the day with fun centers in the classroom.  They got to make a chick cracking out of an egg, a shaving cream egg, dye Easter eggs, decorate an egg cookie, etc...  It was so much fun.  After that we headed to the cafeteria to play games.  After games it was almost time for lunch and specials.  In the afternoon we did an Easter egg hunt and sang songs.  It was a great day.  We had so much fun.  Thank you so much Brighten Academy and Mrs. Folsom and Mrs. Cathy - I don't know how you do all that you do.  You guys are great!
