Campfire

On Friday while we were at Wal-mart we saw those JUMBO Campfire Marshmallows and the kids wanted them so bad so we got them and Saturday night we made steak sandwiches and had a campfire! It was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed playing outside - riding bikes and big wheels, playing baseball, jumping on the trampoline, etc. We even got the Jeep out and Blakely loved it! We had a great time. Mom, Dad, Quinn, Jeff, Wyatt, and Weston came over for the fun. Can't wait to do it again...

Preschool Prowlers

Today was Drew's 1st baseball practice and he LOVED it! Actually, he cried when it was time to leave and kept yelling over and over and over again - "Don't want to leave!" It was too cute. There are 11 boys and 1 girl on the team. They are all so cute. Drew didn't quite understand that a girl could be on his team and he kept saying loudly - "No girls play baseball!" It was kind of embarrassing. The name of the team is going to be the Preschool Prowlers. I think that is just perfect. Today they broke up into groups and worked on catching, throwing, hitting and running. We got to meet the coach and the two assistants. I think he is going to love it! Oh! and as we were leaving Blakely said, "Drew, I am so, so, so, so, so proud of you. You did such a good job!" It was so sweet and she honestly meant it. I love those kiddos! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Blakely & Drew -

I hope your Valentine's Day is great.
I hope it is quite a treat.
I hope you have a happy day
Filled with things so sweet.

This poem's for you because I care.
I can't get more specific.
Well, yes I can, and here I go...
I think you two are terrific!

Happy Valentine's - Love, Mom

I'm A Baseball Player

Drew and his cousin Matthew are going to play pre-t t-ball this season. They are so excited. They are going to be on the same team and it is going to be sooo much fun. This past Saturday they went to a Baseball Camp at Bill Arp Park. The camp was from 10am - noon. At the camp they got to practice hitting, catching, running, etc. They both loved it. They were the youngest there so it was so cute to watch - although I think Matthew surprised many of the parents, coaches, and older players with his ability. That kids is a born baseball player! He was partnered up with Drew most of the camp so he probably didn't get the best workout - ha, ha! Let's just say Drew has a loooooong way to go in the area of sports but he loves it and he definitely gives 110% - what more could you ask for! At the end of the camp they gave the boys a hot dog, cookie, chips and drink. I think that might have been their favorite part! Oh and they got a t-shirt that Drew will not take off. Of course, it is way to big so he has been sleeping in it. I can't wait for this season to get started - I think the boys are going to LOVE it!

You are "Berry" Sweet!

Happy Valentine's! Finally...Here are Blakely's valentine's that she will be giving to her classmate tomorrow at their valentine's day party. She is so excited about them. She sat beside me the entire time I made them. She is definitely going to be my little crafting buddy! Anyway - I made these with my Silhouette (Have I told you how much I LOVE it!). The tag says - You are "Berry" Sweet! Happy Valentine's Day! Love, Blakely Lester and inside they have a strawberry fruit by the foot. I hope the kiddos like them. They are just soooo cute!

Drew's Valentines

Drew's Valentine's for his classmates!

This is for the boys...

Zooming by to wish you a...

Happy Valentines - Love Drew!

This is for the girls...

Of course - all pink and girly! He knows how his sister likes it!

Every girl likes a new hairbow!
Happy Valentine's! This is what Drew is going to give his classmates for Valentine's. We decided to give something other than candy since they get a lot of it. He knew from having a sister in the house that hairbows for the girls would be perfect and what little boy doesn't like a new car - so that is exactly what we did. I hope they like it. We are not quite done with Blakely's Valentine's but we will post as soon as we are.

Daddy-Daughter Dance

Poor Drew - he didn't feel good but he thought his sister looked so pretty!

I hope you have fun!

Our Little Model

Cheese Ball! :)

Tonight Blakely and Phillip headed out for the Daddy-Daughter Dance put on by Blakely's Preschool, Seeds of Faith. She was so excited. Last year she was a little apprehensive and didn't know what to expect but this year she was ready to go and has talked about it for a week. When she got home she ran in and said - "Ta Da"! She had her finger nails painted, make-up put on, glitter in her hair, a princess crown, a necklace, and a ring. She was so excited and had so much fun. She said they did the limbo and had cookies and Sprite! Before they went she said she didn't want Daddy to dance because he is to silly! I think she is already embarrassed of her Dad at 3. They had a great time and I am glad they got that time together. I also enjoyed hanging out with Drew evening if he didn't feel well.
