Dance, Dance, Dance...

 

 

From one activity to another this girl is active!  Today we had Blakely's end of the  year dance recital.  She looked so pretty in her costume and all done up with the make up and hair.  She just loves to get all done up. So cute!  Drew actually likes to see her this way just as much as she likes it.  He stands their beside her the whole time watching her get ready.  It is so sweet.  This year Blakely got to do three dances - tap, ballet and prejazz.  She was so excited about that.  She did a great job and we are all so proud of her.  Thank you Grammy and Pa for making this happen for her.  She loves it. 

 

CHHS Cheer Camp

 

 

 

CHHS Cheer Camp!  This is one of Blakely's favorite things about summer.  She loves attending this camp each year and this year she even had a friend from school attend which made it even that much better.  The camp goes every day Monday through Friday and then on Friday they do a little performance for the parents.  It is so cute!  I think she is a born cheerleading.  Of course - I love that!

New Shoes!

Thank you Grandma for my new shoes!  Grandma ordered Blakely the most adorable shoes online and they came today.  Blakely is loving them and she can't wait to wear them to school.  They are sooo cute!
 

All Dressed Up...

Our church put on a Mother-Daughter Tea for Valentine's and it was SO cute!  They asked that all the girls come dressed in their princess dress up clothes.  Of course Blakely LOVED that.  She went downstairs and got herself all dolled up.  She looked so cute and was so proud of herself.  At the tea they had little stations set up like finger nail painting, make a crown, make a necklace, color a picture, etc..  After working on the little stations for a while and having snack we watched a VeggieTales Movie complete with popcorn.  Blakely loved this little event.  Thank you so much Judy and Katie Derringer for all your hard work. 

 

100 Days of School!

Oh just look at that cute little old Grandma and Papa - aren't they just the cutest!  They are all dressed up for the 100th Day of School!  Yes, can you believe it we have been in school for 100 days - WOW time flies.  The kids had so much fun dressing up for this event.  They just couldn't wait.  They kept asking is today day 100, is today day 100.  So sweet.  They also got to do lots of fun things related to 100 at school today.  Brighten is great - thanks for making my kiddos 100 days smarter!!! :)
 

Dance, Dance, Dance!!!

Blakely did such a great job at her Christmas Dance Recital.  Thank you so much Grandma, Papa, Grammy and Pa for coming out to watch her.  She is really a good dancer.  This year she is taking tap, ballet, and jazz.  Every year they make her the line leader - that's a hard job and she does GREAT!  Way to go B!!
 

Community Service Worker

Today Blakely and Drew had to dress up as a community service worker for school.  They were so excited about this.  Drew knew from the beginning he wanted to be a police officer and then we found this cute little fire fighter outfit for Blakely and she was set to go.  They couldn't wait for this day to happen.  They kept asking everyday - "Is today Community Service Helper Day?"  In class they had to stand up and present themselves.  They did a great job!  Thanks Brighten Academy for another great activity.  I can tell you after the field trip and this dress up day these kiddos can tell you the difference between a good and service.  I love to watch them learn.
