Back to HHI! YEAH!

For the February break we headed back to HHI to see Mom and Dad.  We were so excited.  A week with no plans was wonderful.  We slept in, we ate, we shopped, we played on the beach, we road bikes and scooters, we watched TV, went to the children's museum and we just overall had an AWESOME time.  Thank you Mom and Dad!!!

We're at the BEACH!!!

Over MLK weekend we headed to the Hilton Head to visit with Grandma, Papa, Aunt Sandy and Uncle Fred.  We had a great time and weather was wonderful.  As you can see from the pictures the kids had a ball at the beach.  They were a big mess but they loved it and I guess that is all that matters.  Phillip had a great time because he loved and food and he got to go golfing which he hasn't done in years.  He didn't do to great but he had a great time.  I loved it because I got to do some shopping.  Thanks Grandma and Papa - we will see you at the end of Feb.

Visit to see Grandma & Papa!

The weekend after Valentine's we went to visit Grandma and Papa in Hilton Head Island, SC.  If you don't already know they went there on a TWO month vacation!!!!  Oh being retired must be the life!  We have really missed them so much so we were excited to get to see them.  We left Friday right after school to head out.  When we got there Aunt Sandy had made potato soup for dinner and it was oh so yummy!  It was kind of late when we got there so we visited for a while and then headed to bed.  The next few days we spent shopping, eating, swimming, chating, etc...  It was a great visit but we sure hate to go.  This week we were out of school for winter break but I had to take the DECA student to the DECA State Competition so we had to head back early.  Thanks Grandma and Papa we had a great time.  Enjoy the rest of your visit and we look forward to seeing you when you get home.
