Thanksgiving Fest

It's FEAST time!  The kiddos have been talking about this for weeks and they are SO excited the BIG night is finally here.  They have done a great job keeping everything a secret so I am pretty excited as well to see what they have been working on.  I did know that they were doing a little play but that was about all.  They have been practicing their lines and were ready to go.  It was SO sweet.  They all came in dressed up either has Indians or pilgrims.  They got to choose.  Each student made both outfits (teachers are you crazy!)  The tables were set with placemats, cookbooks written by the students and cards.  They did the play, sang songs, danced, etc...  It was just the cutest thing ever.  After all the performing they worked up quite an appetite so we ate the feast.  There was SO much food - turkey, ham, mash potatoes, green beans, rolls, dessert, mac n cheese, drinks, etc...  so, so much!

This was a great evening and I can't THANK the teachers enough for all their hard work to make an event like this happen.  This is what the kids will remember when they get older and I am so glad they had this opportunity.  Thank you again for all that you do for my children.  They love you and Brighten!  Thank you

It's Turkey Time!

Of course - crazy mom that I am I had to make something for the Twin's class for Thanksgiving so after many hours of Pinteresting I decided on these.  They were actually really, really, really easy to  make and the kids loved them.  Blakely and Drew were so proud to take them to school and to give them out to their friends.  I hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving!  Gooble, Gooble!

DECA Fall Leadership Conference

This year's Fall Leadership Conference was in Athen's, GA.  We had a great time eating, talking, attending sessions, etc...  This is really a great group of girls and I know they have a lot of potential and will really go far in their lives.

Happy Halloween!

Tonight we headed over to the Lester house for our annual Halloween Evening complete with Chili dinner and Trick or Treating.  The kids love doing this because they get to be with their cousins and that just makes it Oh So FUN!  They had a ball and went from house to house getting candy before we headed back to Grammy and Pa's to check out what all we got.  Thanks for having us we had a great time!
