He's Got the Whole World in His Hands!!

Blakely had her first dance recital this past Saturday and it was just perfect. She dances at Douglasville School of Dance where I danced when I was little and her Aunt Catherine, Aunt Quinn - basically where every little girl in Douglasville danced at one point or another. They are a wonderful, Christian based dance school. The people are wonderful and I can't imagine all the work they put into this wonderful show. Blakley did a ballet dance to the song "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands." She did GREAT! I was so impressed - you just never know what a three year-old is going to do but no problems here. She looked like a pro! She was so excited and has been asking every day "Is today my recital?" She was thrilled when I finally said "YES - today is the day!" She had a big group of fans there to cheer her on - Me, Daddy, Drew, Grandma, Papa, Quinn, Jim, Grammy, Pa, Nanny, Aunt Catherine, Matthew, Jill, Sandy, Paige, and Alyson. You would think she was famous! Everyone was so nice to come out to this special event for her. Also everyone was so nice to bring her wonderful presents - she got flowers, a precious dancing teddy bear, a cool shirt, candy, doll, etc...Kids these days are so luck!:) Anyway - it was a wonderful event and thank you so much to everyone for making it so special for her. On a side note: Drew was so proud of his sister. At the dress rehearsal they called Blakely's name out and he yelled "Yeah - she is the most beautiful princess in the whole wide world!" Everyone laughed. I am so glad he is proud of her.

Keepin' Cool!!!

After leaving the World of Coke we headed up Centineal Olympic Park to the water! It was so HOT (in the 90s) so this felt WONDERFUL! The kids had a great time playing in it for a while before we or should I say our Northern family members couldn't take the heat anymore and we headed back home. We had a great day but boy am I tired!

YUMMY! My Aunt Sandy and Cousin Jill along with her two children, Alyson and Paige are here visiting so today we headed to Atlanta to the World of Coke. We had a great time. Of course tasting all the different drinks was are favorite part but we also loved the 4D movie. Blakely's favorite was Peach Sprite!

Water Party

For the Twins end of the year party at Seeds of Faith they had a water party and picnic. They had so much fun! I thought it was a great idea. They had a baby pool set up along with a couple of water tables, a sprinkler, water balloons, etc... The kids had a blast. Once they got worn out and hungry we had a pizza picnic which was a perfect ending to such a wonderful year. Of course I had to do end of the year gifts for the kiddos and I decided what better for a water party then sand buckets with Popsicles with a cute little tag that said "Stay Cool this Summer!" All the kids LOVED them. I decorated them with vinyl cut out on my Oh So WONDERFUL Silhouette! The Twins had a great year a Seeds of Faith and we will sure miss it next year when we are in BIG Pre-K!
