School Pictures

Mrs. Tracie, Blakelee, Jack, Sydney J., Johnathan, Max, Mrs. Lynn

Hadley, Larkin, Ethan, Ellie

Blakely, Joesph, Sydney, Drew

Twice a year the Picture People come out and do school pictures. They do them once if the fall and once in the spring. I love to see the pictures because it really shows how much they have grown from the fall to the spring. Also - it is fun to see how the pictures turn out since I am not there. Surprisingly they always turn out GREAT! (Maybe it is because I am not there!) Anyway - they were all wonderful this year and I wish I could have afforded to get them all but due to cost we just had to pick a few so above is what we got. I love the picture of the two of them together. They just love each other so, so much! It is so sweet. Phillip just said the other day you would think they would get sick of each other but honestly they don't! I also had to get the picture of Drew because he looked SO big and strong (as he says!). Seeds of Faith has been such a GREAT experience for the Twins. They have loved every minute of it. They have loved the teachers, the friends that they have made and of course all that they have learned. I can't believe next year they will be in Pre-K - WOW time flies!

Family Fun Night at Stone Mountain

Yesterday evening we decided at the last minute to pack up and head to Stone Mountain to watch the lasershow. We packed up the car with chairs and blankets then stop at Publix's to pick up some sandwiches and off we went. The weather was perfect and the kids really enjoyed it. We got there early enough that they had time to play in the water, take a walk, eat their dinner, play with a few toys we brought, etc. It was great. Blakely loved the fireworks and Drew loved the "Go Georgia Bulldog" that they had in the show. It was a great family fun night.

End of the Year Performance

This past week the Twins preschool, Seeds of Faith, had their End of the Year Performance. It was SO cute and the Twins did a GREAT job. They sang quite a few songs and I was so impressed that they knew all the words and hand motions. Blakely was really rocking out to the songs. It was priceless! They love Seeds of Faith and we are really going to miss it next year.

GOOOOO Drew!

Drew had his last baseball game last Saturday and at the end of the game they game them a trophy. He was so excited! I can truly say that boy LOVED playing baseball. I had to prepare him for about a week for the season to be over because I knew he was going to be so mad. He loved it and that is all he wants to do is play ball constantly. It is so cute. As you can see Blakely is his #1 fan. She gets so excited for him. You would think at this age she would be jealous but shes not at all. She is really excited. Well, can't wait until next season...

Happy Mother's Day!

For Mother's Day Mom, Quinn and I headed to the Cotton Pickin' Fair. We left pretty early in the morning because we want to beat the crowd and the heat. We had a great day walking around looking at all the crafts. We saw some pretty neat things. We also ate some pretty good food. Of course we all had to bring home a treasure or two. I bought metal flowers that I just LOVE! I can't wait to see where they will go. Mom also bought some of the flowers as well as an outfit for both Blakely and Drew. Quinn and I also bought these bright colored wreaths I don't know how to explain them I will have to post a picture. They are so cute! I bought mine for Blakely's room and I can't wait to see how it looks. I also bought Drew a sign for his room that says "Drew's Room". He loved it! We had a great day!

Happy Mother's Day Tea

The Twins school put on a Mother's Day Tea for all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, etc. It was really nice and the kids were so excited about it. They kept everything they were doing a secret. They wouldn't tell me anything. They wouldn't tell me what songs they were singing, what crafts they made, nothing! It was too, too cute! When we arrived they had the fellowship all decorated up so cute. Each table had different crafts that the kids had made for their mommies. The Marvelous Monkeys made placemats that you can see above. They had our picture on them and they had questions that the kids answered. The answers were so funny like Blakely said My favorite thing to do with mommy is COOK! Any one that knows the Lester's knows we eat out almost every night! They also had painted bamboo and made them in to flower vases with flowers and all. They were so nice. After the kids came in and showed us all their crafts they sang a few songs and we had some snacks. It was such a nice event. Thanks Seeds of Faith.

At the Lake!

We had another great weekend at the lake. Drew was supposed to have a baseball game Saturday morning but it was cancelled due to some electrical problem - crazy! Anyway - as soon as we found out the game was cancelled we got ready and headed over to Alabama. We first went to Oxford to do a little shopping and to get some lunch then we headed over to Wedowee. Once we got to Wedowee the Twins were in need of a NAP! So they napped and I worked on cutting out a dress for Blakely. I am determined I am going to learn to sew. Anyway - later that afternoon the Westbrook's came. Once they got there we had a great time. We headed out for a boat ride which was lots of fun. All the kids really seemed to enjoy it. Once we got back we played with the toss across, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, etc... while Phillip grilled us up some dinner. After dinner we had a bonfire but the little ones didn't make it to long and off to bed they went. We stayed up and enjoyed the fire, the weather, conversation, music, roasting marshmallows, and of course some adult beverages! The Westbrook's had to leave to go home early Sunday AM because they were going to the Braves game but we hung out until late Sunday afternoon before we headed home. It is just so relaxing over at the lake!
